Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (email address, name, and a password if you sign up with one), content and inputs you provide or generate using our services (topics, scripts, voiceovers, images, videos, and any reference files you upload), the social accounts you authorize us to publish to (including the access and refresh tokens each platform grants us, your account/channel display name, and selections such as the Facebook Page you choose to publish to), payment and subscription records (plan, amount, date, and the identifiers our payment processors return — we never receive or store full card numbers), and technical and usage data such as your IP address and the approximate country derived from it, device, operating system and browser type, access times, pages viewed, and features used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain our faceless short-video automation services, generate and publish videos on your behalf to the social accounts you connect, improve our algorithms and service quality, communicate with you about your account and service updates, and comply with legal obligations. The access tokens you grant are used solely to publish content you request to your connected accounts and to confirm the resulting post — we do not use them to read your private data or post without your instruction.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following bases: to perform our contract with you (creating your account, generating and delivering your videos, publishing to the accounts you connect, billing and support); our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, understanding how the service is used so we can improve it, and communicating service updates), balanced against your rights and interests; your consent where we ask for it (for example analytics cookies or marketing emails), which you can withdraw at any time; and compliance with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.

4. Connected Social Accounts and Access Tokens

When you connect a social account (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, Telegram, or Discord), that platform grants us an authorization token that lets us publish on your behalf. We store these tokens encrypted and use them only to publish the content you schedule or request and to retrieve the resulting public post link and status. You can disconnect any platform at any time from your account settings; when you do, we delete the associated tokens and stop publishing to that account. You can also revoke our access directly in each platform's app/security settings. We request the narrowest permissions needed to publish, and we do not sell or share these tokens with anyone.

5. Use of Google/YouTube API Services

Fableclip's use of information received from Google APIs, including the YouTube API Services, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access YouTube API Services only to upload and publish videos to your own channel at your request, store the resulting video ID and link, and refresh your authorization. We do not use this data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the publishing feature you requested. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can revoke Fableclip's access to your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to deliver the service: cloud hosting and databases (Supabase on Amazon Web Services), file storage and content delivery (Cloudflare), payment processing (Stripe and PayPal), AI model providers that generate scripts, images, voiceovers and animation from your inputs (including OpenAI, ByteDance Volcano Engine and MiniMax, accessed directly or through API gateways), publishing infrastructure and the social platforms you connect (the content and metadata you choose to publish are sent to that platform and become subject to its own terms and privacy policy), transactional email delivery, and the analytics providers described in the Cookies section. We may also disclose data when required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

7. International Data Transfers

Fableclip is operated from the United States, our primary servers and databases are located there, and the providers listed above may process data in the United States or other countries. If you use the service from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your personal data will be transferred outside your region. Where we do so we rely on safeguards recognised under applicable law: European Commission adequacy decisions, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the receiving provider is certified under it, and otherwise the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where relevant), together with the security measures described below. You may contact us to request more information about these safeguards.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest, and authorization tokens for connected social accounts are additionally encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authenticated administrators. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated content is stored according to your subscription plan. Social-account tokens are deleted when you disconnect the platform. When you close your account we delete your data, except that we keep payment and invoicing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires and short-lived server and security logs for a limited period. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may export your content at any time, disconnect any connected social account, and revoke our access from each platform's own settings. To exercise any of these rights, or to close your account and request deletion of your data, contact support@fableclip.com. We respond within one month (extendable where the law allows for complex requests) and may ask you to verify your identity first. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a right to limit. You can exercise your rights by contacting support@fableclip.com, and you may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics tools — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Plausible — to understand how the service is used. These may set cookies or similar identifiers and, in the case of Clarity, record how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and navigation) so we can find usability problems. You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

14. Contact Us

If you have questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, or want to report content, contact us through the feedback form inside the product, the Contact page at fableclip.com/contact, or by email at support@fableclip.com.
